    Default Winter Handling

I am very interested in buying the genesis coupe 2.0 track.

It would be my only car and a year round drive. I live in upstate Ohio and get a decent amount of annual snowfall.
I would like any input from users who have driven it in snow as to its handling, if its able to go up snow covered hills, braking, acceleration, etc.
also anyone warning against driving year round in these conditions
I know it comes with summer tires and would invest in winter or all season tires.

any help would be greatly appreciated

It all comes down to the tires.

as Pmastron said, it all comes down to tires. I live in south Saskatchewan and get a fair bit of snow, strongly suggest the Michelin X-Ice XI2. I used them all winter, and know a few others that have, including my sisters RX-8 and 335ic, great snow traction, really good braking and even acceleration. It's not going to be like driving in summer, but it's better than all-seasons.
Keep the GC's traction control on during winter months, it saved my ass a few times.
Otherwise the GC is pretty tame in the winter.

I have OEM 18's, just used those, they're gonna be my winter rims, get some nice ones for summer. Fronts were 225/45R18, rear 245/45R18. Tires set me back 1100$ from Tirerack.com (though thats including shipping to Canada, you'll be able to get them cheaper I bet).
