I tried the CMD and unfortunately couldn't get it to work with my car. No idea what the problem. We tried the PowerAxel tune and it took under 30 seconds to install and I absolutely feel a difference! We haven't dynoed it to see the actual gains but its throwing me back in my seat now. If you're looking for something easy to install/easy to unistall for warranty reasons I'd say stick with the PowerAxel tune. I've heard great things about the CMD however IMO there's quite a few connectors involved so should you encounter a problem with your GC and need to take it in..its gonna take a few minutes to remove the CMD before you can take the car in.

Thanks for the advice and heads up. After hearing about starting issues with the NSPP that definitely turned me off right away. You said the poweraxel was quick and easy to install but does it offer the same results as NSPP does? if so, i wouldn't mind paying the difference for more quality.

Poweraxle remaps your ECU. It's awesome. The only drawback is if you make mods after you upload it. You'll have to send it back for reprogramming...at a fee. CDM with Wideband2 has an autotune feature which is really nice. Install a new mod. Turn on your laptop, and automatically make adjustments. Perfect for people like me who are not experienced tuners. Once all my mods are complete I will be adding poweraxle with CDM/Wideband2 on top

So wait. You can't add parts on like (BOV, Intake, Exhaust)? why arent you able to just unhook it back to the stock/normal ECU and then replace it after all the parts are installed?

You can replace everything, but you would want to have a custom tune

After reading both pages on this site

it's safe to say i've changed my mind on NSPP... thanks for all who helped me out here, i do greatly appreciate the information and help. I guess poweraxel for me is just the way to go.

ok sounds great but im not even gonna bother paying for the poweraxle...2 high for me i like the cmd tho sounds good to me
what i dont know about is hows it affect gas mileage? and two is it really like you can just plug it in for a race then take it out after you win and its like you never plugged it in?

and on top of it i was looking around online and there is a control unit with a display screen that shows you 4 different engine set ups like how much boost your running and all that other crap and it plugs in just like all the others...compared to all the stuff i just read it sounds like bs now but it sounds perfect and easy for me so i dont know what to do
