    Default Forge BOV issue!!

So i just got my forge BOV and installed it and when i hit the gas and change gears the BOV makes a chuckeling noise if thats what you call it.. it also seams like it is not as loud as when i had my stock BOV on with my cone filter... Does anyone know what could be the problem???

did you remember to reattach the tube? What spring are you using? Are you using any of the shim plates? have you had someone push the gas pedal with you watching to see if the BOV opens? Is it the recir or atmo version? are the bolts fully tightened? Did you disconnect any hoses other than the wastegate hose?
To clear your CEL you might just have to disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait a few minutes, to speed things up, turn your key to accessory and it'll help drain any charged current.

I'm pretty sure you've done everything right, just listing off things to check.

Deffinately check everything that Snoopy mentioned. We've had the Forge BOV on our 2.0 for a while now and no issues at all.

Also, calling/emailing the vendor BEFORE posting a thread is always recommended. They can help walk you through all of the troubleshooting procedures.

Are you sure you lined up the crescent holes?

I have a Forge BoV and have no issues.

the hole in the turbo that looks like ( and the hole in the BoV that looks like ). They should match up when you install the BoV.

It's hard to diagnose through text. Can you post up a vid?

Is it like this vid at 30 seconds?
