Default Reppin RWDCoupe at my local Autocross yesterday!

Clemson Sports Car Club (clemsonscc.com) put on an autocross yesterday. 67 cars showed up! I ran my Genesis! I have some pictures but none of my car yet. I should have brought a camera friend along.

This is my second autocross, and first autocross with the Genesis. I ran in the novice class. I got 3rd place out of 13! Final results can be seen here:

Even with an automatic the car felt very controllable. I had a small issue with the car shifting to third on it's own a few times but otherwise it was a great experience. I am still 100% stock and running on the all season tires. The rearend of the car has a slight rotation that is very predictable. Slides can be tossed from side to side with ease. There were a few moments of understeer, but if you give it a little more gas, the back end slightly rotates and puts you back where you need to go.

I think March 27th is the next autocross. If anyone is in / near South Carolina, I would love to get some more people in on this. It was by far the best 35 dollars I have spent on a car, ever. If you have never autocrossed I highly recommend you try it. You will never learn your cars capabilities like you will in an autocross or track event. It is a very rewarding experience.

Hell yea~! Great run and sounds like a good time. I'd love to get mine out on the track here soon so I can push her to her limits.

Yeah this is an auto non track, non LSD model. It handled ok. Hard to put the power down mid corner but it wasn't too bad. Brake fade want even there, but the car was barely hitting 50.
