Default RRM Next Stage Power Pro 2.0 First Impressions

Finally got this puppy in yesterday (thanks for the fast service, UPS. NOT!!!). Install was a snap (2 snaps actually). I took it for a spin around the city, both city streets and 75 MPH turnpike.

Overall smoothness and responsiveness of the engine were immediately improved. The more I drove it, the better it got. Extra power was also definitely noticeable. I've seen reports that it takes a few days to settle in, so I'm excited to see if that's true.

It's hard to describe the feeling. It just drives so much better now.

ive been debating betweeen this and poweraxle flash... have you tried a poweraxel flash too? im curious to hear a comparison between the 2. Im leaning towards this though as it can easily be removed and i beleive tuners perfer working with this as well rather then reflashing. Looking foward to hereing how it "settles in"!

I've been looking at the RRM Next Stage Power Pro and DynoJet CMD. I like the RRM for easy install but I prefer the gains of the CMD.

    Decisions, decisions.

What are the gains on the CMD?

It doesn't get any easier than the RRM. It's the easiest mod I've done.

Any type of retune is what the 2.0T needs, I went with CMD myself and so far got 40whp and 80ft/lbs. Glad you're enjoying NSPP! A retune really makes the car enjoyable to drive.

i would personally go with nspp due to i also have this. for the money you will be really impressed the car is a different machine now you wouldnt believe. for the money its the best bang for your buck plus everytime you do some other mods you dont have to find a pa place to re tune your car. and the best part it only takes a min tops to install it and uninstall it. no way of noticing it when you bring it in for warranty work

Hi all, I have the 3.8, is there an RRM or something similar for my Gen??? If so, what are the improvements I can expect... I want to order one of these!!!! Spring is around the corner and I need to have my Gen ready to rip it up!!!

    Thanks

There is an RRM NSPP for the 3.8. Gains aren't quite as nice, but it's an easy install as well.

Mine really kicked in today on the way to work. Took me a little by surprise. 60 miles after reset seems to be the sweet spot.

    Man, I'm loving this thing.
