Not completely accurate. Although they mostly do the same thing the PowerAxel unit does raise the rev limiter and gov. And since it reflashes the ecu and doesn't fool the ecu like a piggyback the amount of boost that can be used without going into limp mode is raised as well. This is important if you want to monitor boost via an obdII gauge like the greddy informeter. With the dynojet by itself a gauge like the greddy would only show 17.5 lbs. Because it clamps the value at that limit so the ecu doesn't know you are boosting higher, where as with the pa reflash it shows ur real boost level. I will be running both together, using the reflash as my base tune and the cmd to fine tune, since the nearest PowerAxel tuner is 9.5 hours away, but by keeping the PowerAxel reflash on I get the benefit of the raised limits and I can still use my greddy informeter.
