Default EVO X hood functional for the GC?

I had a thought about the EVOx hood the other day, being that the EVO and GC are very similar engine wise, would a EVO hood design be beneficial for the GC? I'm not to sure how hoods can be "beneficial" except for like air-flow and aero dynamics, but im guessing there is a reason they put the hood on the EVOx.

Would this design be more beneficial to the GC's turbo setup persay verses the stock solid hood? And do you guys think that we might see a different hood that may be more performance aggressive or aero style on the GC sometime stock like the Mazdaspeed3 or the EVOx or the STI?

And if any of our PS masters wanna try, maybe they could try to PS the design on the GC?

If you somehow havent seen the EVOx hood here you go:

I think something similar would look nice, it's not too flashy but would serve a purpose at the same time.

I just would not want my car to look like its copying an EvoX!!!

Myself I would go for something original that has the same level of function.

I know RMR is selling their hood, which sort of has the same feel.

What would the rear inlet be used for?
Ducting to cool the turbo? lol

The two front vents would obviously vent heat, but located so far forward, it's not the most efficient design.. Improvement over stock for performance, yes. Better than the seibon tc or the two VIS hoods? Not at all.

Well I meant maybe a stock kind of version! Like maybe Hyundai will provide a model trim that would sport a new hood that would be similar that is functional and aero dynamically beneficial! Like if they improved the let's say the R-Spec, wouldn't a hood like this weigh less? And provide more progressive qualities over the stock hood? And in addition to those it would set the car apart from the rest of the trims like the EVOx is to the lancer...

something to keep in mind... this hood was designed for a transverse mounted engine, just like the MazdaSpeed 3's. The vent on the Speed 3 and STi is for the intercooler, which is located on the top of the engine. On the Evo it's used to cool behind the block where the turbo is located. Those two front holes are for air to pass through the grill and over the hood increasing front end downforce (kinda like adding a spoiler to the front of your car).
