The boost line is hidden. Vacuum line was spliced in at the intake, with converter mounted on the firewall. I'll take an up close pic tomorrow

converter? you're running a digital gauge too?

Defi is a digital gauge for it's mechanics, but analog face. So the best of both worlds
Defi - Racer Gauge
I have a picture of the gauge on my profile

I just saw this thread on the home page, and thought I would chime in. We made a kit for the boost gauge for the 2.0T. We actually used Pmastron's car to develop it :-).
Here's a pic of it (this is actually his car):

I couldn't find that pic on my laptop thanks. Did you take any shots of the vacuum routing?
-
Im not sure, i wasn't there when it was installed. I'll have to look through the pictures and see if I can find it.

<edit>
those 2 pics are the ones from the product page for the boost gauge kit on our site.

Preston, thanks for the link, I actually found this last night and was gonna post it but other things happened so I didn't.
I did however route my boost line through the firewall

and it doesn't pinch it.. but the installer on that post pinches his with zip ties which I don't recommend.
I ordered a A-Pillar from ImportShark today so I'll get everything else done when it shows up, I'll only be installing the one gauge at the moment, thinking oil pressure and water pressure will be my others just because I'm paranoid about busting a hose or a rock smacking my oil pan.

alright, installed my boost gauge just to test it today, and for some reason when I idle it shows 20 in the vacuum. Driving nicely it shows about 5-10 in vacuum, tromp on it and I get 8-9 psi boost.. did I do something wrong?
I installed it here:
