    Question RRM Intake Help

    i wanna install an rrm intake for my new gencoupe but i only see one hose connecting to the stock intake cuz my car is an automatic. when i saw the rrm intake one, there are 2 of them....could someone help me out? thanks a lot!

    If you don't have the second hose then just cap the nipple on the intake pipe. Seems the later manual turbos are the ones with the second hose.

    what do u mean cap the nipple? u mean just cover it up with something?

    I think that Canadian spec 2.0 turbo's have the single tube and certain states in the US have two because of emissions. Shouldn't be a big problem either plug the hose or use a clamp to pinch it off or something.

    Auto = 1 tube Manual = 2 tubes. I've got one of each From some debates on other forums it seems the auto has a vacuum pump built in and the manual needs the extra vacuum at idle from the intake.

    Just cap the hole on the intake with a rubber stopper or something.

    Correct, I'm in Canada and my M/T 2.0T has the duel tube.

    It's very doubtful. They would have to prove the intake caused a problem.

    Unless your dealer is an a$$ and they would have to prove that it was caused by the intake.
